Calling strangers on the internet “Magtard,” “Libtard,” “Lolbert,” etc., is actually a defensive reflex. It allows your brain to signal that you have some control over a situation where you actually feel powerless.
The problem is that this is a tool authorities, the media, and the ruling class understand and use against you.
“Fear the illegal!” “THE OTHER SIDE ARE ALL FASCISTS!” “Muslims are importing Sharia law, idiot.” “THE OTHER SIDE ARE ALL COMMUNISTS!”
It feels good to release the anger, to express yourself, and to believe you are doing something to fight the evil. Next time you will vote even harder, get even more people to vote harder, and eventually the right people will give you the government you want—one that will only rule the bad guys and do things the way you (and you alone) think they should be done.
Not really, though.
As long as you’re stuck in the “Republicans or Democrats are all bad” mindset, you’re only giving the ruling class more cover to expand tyrannical power.
They are all the same team. Good people don’t want power over other people and don’t believe they can save the world by making people obey their rules. Donald Trump is on the same team as Biden, Obama, and Abraham Lincoln. Your neighbor with differing political views is not your enemy
